The Yamaha YTS-280 tenor saxophone replaces the popular YTS-275 model. Still designed to meet the needs of those starting the saxophone the Yamaha YAS-280 is ergonomically designed for comfort and to encourage correct hand positioning techniques. The Yamaha student model saxophone is highly acclaimed as an instrument that aids rapid improvement and enables new beginners to produce a beautiful rich tone easily and quickly.

The Yamaha YTS-280 tenor saxophone features a new neck receiver which design results in easier playability and a quicker response. A new mechanism from B-C# has also been introduced which provides a much improved response and feel in the low notes.

The Yamaha YTS-280 tenor saxophone is a student model that even more experienced sax players will appreciate and enjoy the instruments playability, tone, intonation and response.
